Role Description The Center Head, Skill Development Center will lead the overall operations and strategic direction of the center, ensuring high-quality delivery of skill development programs. This full-time, on-site role includes oversight of training activities, resource planning, and coordination with partners and local stakeholders. The role involves managing and mentoring the center team, monitoring program outcomes, maintaining documentation, and reporting progress to senior leadership.

The Center

Head will work closely with youth, , industry partners, and government agencies to align training offerings with local employment needs and enhance participant outcomes. The position also includes continuous improvement of curricula, exploring new skill development opportunities, and upholding Ambuja Foundation’s standards of inclusivity, integrity, and impact.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to use data for decision-making, monitoring, and improvement of center performance.




- Candidates should possess Team Management and Team Leadership skills to guide staff, build a cooperative work culture, and ensure effective delivery of training programs.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, implement, and track multiple initiatives, manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) capabilities to identify emerging skill needs, refine curricula, and design innovative training solutions.
- Relevant qualifications may include a graduate or postgraduate degree in social work, education, management, rural development, or a related field.
- Experience in skill development, vocational training, community development, or nonprofit program management is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in local languages and English, and the ability to work with diverse communities and partners are desirable.
- Familiarity with government skill schemes, industry requirements, and basic computer skills (MS Office, digital reporting tools) will be an advantage.
