Cardiology Technicians perform diagnostic tests such as ECG, Echo, TMT, and Holter monitoring. To prepare patients for procedures and attach monitoring equipment accurately. They assist cardiologists during catheterization lab procedures and monitor patient vitals. To maintain and calibrate cardiac equipment to ensure accurate results. To record test findings and keep patient reports organized and confidential.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Cardiac Care Technology or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- 1-6 years of relevant experience in a hospital or cardiac care facility.
- Practical knowledge of ECG and cardiac diagnostic procedures.
- Experience in a Cath Lab or cardiac diagnostic unit will be an added advantage.
