Role & responsibilities

Job Summary The Hospital Camp Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating medical camps, health screening camps, awareness programs, and community outreach activities conducted by the hospital. The role involves coordinating doctors, nurses, medical staff, administrative teams, patients, vendors, and external organizations to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of medical camps.

Key Responsibilities

A. Medical Camp Planning and Coordination

- Plan and organize medical camps, health check-up camps, and community health programs.
- Coordinate camp dates, venues, schedules, and required facilities.
- Arrange medical equipment, medicines, consumables, and other necessary supplies in coordination with authorized hospital departments.
- Ensure all arrangements are completed before the camp begins.

Medical Staff Coordination

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Prepare duty schedules and allocate responsibilities in consultation with department heads.
- Ensure the availability of required medical and support staff.
- Communicate camp schedules and operational requirements to the concerned departments.

Patient Registration and Management

- Coordinate patient registration, token distribution, and attendance records.




- Organize patient flow and waiting areas to minimize delays.
- Assist patients with information about consultations, investigations, and follow-up appointments.
- Ensure patient information is handled confidentially and in accordance with hospital policies.

Hospital Department Coordination

- Coordinate with OPD, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, nursing, billing, ambulance, and other relevant departments.
- Arrange laboratory investigations and diagnostic services as approved by the hospital.
- Coordinate referrals for patients requiring further examination or treatment.
- Ensure that medical reports and follow-up instructions are communicated through the appropriate clinical teams.

Community Outreach and Public Relations

- Coordinate with schools, colleges, companies, factories, NGOs, local communities, and other organizations to organize medical camps.
- Support health awareness programs and preventive healthcare initiatives.
- Coordinate camp announcements, invitations, and publicity with the hospital's authorized marketing or public relations team.
- Maintain qualified relationships with community representatives and participating organizations.
