Role Description The CAM Programming Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chinchwad. The role involves developing and optimizing CAM programs for CNC machines used in the manufacturing of precision medical devices and components.

Responsibilities include creating tool paths, validating and simulating programs, selecting cutting tools and machining strategies, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The engineer will collaborate closely with design, production,



and quality teams to translate engineering drawings into efficient manufacturing processes, troubleshoot machining issues, and continuously improve cycle times and part quality. The role also includes maintaining documentation, supporting equipment automation initiatives, and contributing to process standardization and best practices on the shop floor.

Qualifications

- Strong Programming skills relevant to CAM workflows and industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with CNC Programming, including tool path generation, G-code optimization, and machine setup support.
- Knowledge of Automation systems used in manufacturing environments to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX CAM, Powermill, or similar) and familiarity with CAD tools.
- Understanding of precision machining, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes for metal and polymer components.
- Attention to detail, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Experience in medical device or highly regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage.
