About the Role

Lagom Sustainable Living Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a CAM Engineer – CNC Laser Cutting to join our team in Bhubaneswar. This role is responsible for CAM programming, operating CNC laser cutting machinery, utilizing SOLIDWORKS for design tasks, and supporting end-to-end manufacturing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. CAM Programming: Generate, verify, and optimize CAM programs tailored for CNC laser

cutting operations.
1. Machine Operation: Setup, calibrate, and operate CNC laser cutting machines to ensure

precision cutting and effective material utilization.
1. Design Support: Utilize SOLIDWORKS to create, review, and modify engineering

designs, drawings, and sheet-metal layouts.
1. Manufacturing Support: Coordinate closely with the manufacturing team to integrate

design, CAM programming, and machine operation for smooth production runs.




1. Quality & Maintenance: Monitor cutting quality, inspect finished components against

design specifications, and ensure routine operational upkeep of CNC equipment. Required Skills & Competencies
1. Proven understanding and hands-on exposure to CNC laser cutting operations.
2. Sound technical knowledge of CAM programming principles and CNC machine handling.
3. Working proficiency in SOLIDWORKS for 2D/3D modeling and production-ready drawing

generation.
1. Strong attention to detail, precision measurement capability, and problem-solving

mindset on the shop floor.
