Role Description The CAD Designer role at IEPCC Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The CAD Designer will produce detailed technical and construction drawings using CAD software for projects in the petroleum, oil and gas, offshore–onshore, and marine sectors.

Daily responsibilities include interpreting design specifications, collaborating with design and engineering teams, updating and revising drawings based on feedback, and ensuring that all documentation meets industry standards and project requirements.



The role involves coordinating with project managers and engineers to align designs with project timelines, quality expectations, and safety guidelines. The CAD Designer will also help maintain organized drawing archives and support continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and Drawing for industrial and engineering projects.
- Candidates should possess advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating accurate and detailed design models.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Construction Drawings for petroleum, oil and gas, offshore–onshore, and marine applications.
- Candidates should possess Design Engineering skills to translate project requirements into practical and protected design solutions.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, Marine, or related engineering discipline.
- Experience working with industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and familiarity with applicable codes and standards.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret engineering documents, and commitment to quality and HSE practices.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an on-site environment.
