Business Development - Defence Electronics (Hyderabad) – Manager – Business Development (Defence Electronics - Hyderabad) Location: Hyderabad Experience: 10–15 Years Industry: Defence & Aerospace Role Summary Drive business growth for Defence Electronics by identifying current opportunities, developing customer relationships, leading capture and bid activities, and securing domestic and export orders across Defence and Aerospace markets.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategy for Defence Electronics products and solutions. Identify and pursue opportunities with MoD, Armed Forces, DRDO, DPSUs, and Defence OEMs. Lead opportunity qualification, capture planning, bid management, proposal preparation, and commercial negotiations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and technology providers. Track defence procurement programmes, analyse market trends, and support Go/No-Go decisions. Coordinate with Engineering, Program Management, Finance,



and Supply Chain teams to deliver winning proposals.

Represent the company at customer meetings, defence exhibitions, and industry forums. Meet annual order intake, revenue, and profitability targets.

Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Electronics or related discipline. MBA/PGDM is preferred. 10–15 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Capture Management, or Marketing within the Defence & Aerospace industry.

Desired Skills

Experience in Defence Electronics, Radar, C4ISR, Electronic Warfare, Communications, Electro-Optics. Strong understanding of defence procurement processes, and government contracting. Excellent customer engagement, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proven track record of winning defence programmes and managing strategic customer relationships.
