Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Bhubaneswar, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with healthcare partners, and expanding Chikitsa.Life’s presence in target markets. Daily tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting meetings and presentations, negotiating agreements, and tracking pipeline activities.

The Business Development

Manager will collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, refine service offerings, and support marketing initiatives. The role also involves analyzing market trends, preparing performance reports,



and ensuring that growth activities align with the company’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in business development, sales, and relationship management, with experience engaging healthcare or technology partners.
- Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning to identify opportunities and inform growth initiatives.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with confidence in client-facing discussions and stakeholder coordination.
- Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience in the healthcare, health-tech, or related service industries is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to collaborate in person in Bhubaneswar and manage responsibilities remotely.
- Demonstrated problem-solving mindset, adaptability in a fast-changing setting, and commitment to ethical, inclusive business practices.
