We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Manager to support the growth of an upcoming tourism project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, expanding revenue channels, and building relationships with key stakeholders in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities for the tourism project.
- Build partnerships with tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, resorts, tourism companies, schools, colleges, and corporates.
- Develop B2B and B2C partnerships for tourism packages, group visits, and destination experiences.
- Conduct market research on tourism trends, customer preferences, competitor attractions, and pricing.
- Develop tourism packages in coordination with the project team and external partners.
- Explore new revenue streams, sponsorships, promotional opportunities, and strategic collaborations.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and commercial pitches.
- Maintain a database of potential partners and business leads, and follow up to convert opportunities into partnerships.




- Coordinate with marketing and project teams to support visitor acquisition and promotional activities.
- Represent the project at tourism events, networking programmes, and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

- Graduate or postgraduate in Business Administration, Tourism, Marketing, Hospitality, Commerce, or a related field.
- Previous experience in business development, tourism, hospitality, travel, sales, or a related sector is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to identify potential partners and independently develop business relationships.
- Valuable market research and analytical skills.
- Ability to prepare professional proposals and presentations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently.

Work Arrangement

- Work-from-home opportunity for candidates based in Thrissur.
- Periodic visits to the Ernakulam office will be required with prior intimation.
- Travel to project locations, meetings, and stakeholder offices may be required based on project needs.
