Roles and Responsibility

- Operate binding machines to produce high-quality books and other publications.
- Inspect and repair damaged or defective books to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to plan and prioritize binding tasks.
- Develop and implement new binding techniques to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of binding activities, including production schedules and machine maintenance.




- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.

Job Requirements

- Proficient in operating binding machines, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of book production processes, including typesetting, printing, and paper selection.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Familiarity with book conservation and restoration techniques is an asset.
