Position: BIM Mechanical & Electrical Modeler / Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled BIM Mechanical & Electrical Modeler / Draftsman with experience in MEP drafting and 3D modeling. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate BIM models, preparing construction drawings, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and update Mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection) and Electrical BIM models using Revit.
- Prepare detailed 2D shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Perform clash detection and coordination with Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Generate plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
- Review project specifications, design drawings, and standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and BIM coordinators to resolve design issues.




- Maintain model accuracy and ensure compliance with BIM execution plans and company standards.
- Support project teams in meeting project deadlines and quality requirements.

Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in BIM modeling and drafting.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical systems.
- Experience in clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and BIM workflows.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
