Role Description The BIM Modeler role at RDS is a full-time, on-site position based in Infopark Koratty. The BIM Modeler will create, develop, and maintain detailed BIM models for architectural and structural disciplines, ensuring accuracy and consistency with project standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting design and construction drawings, coordinating with design and engineering teams, and updating models to reflect design changes and site conditions.





The role involves preparing model-based construction documentation, assisting in clash detection and resolving coordination issues, and supporting project planning by providing accurate quantities and model information. The BIM Modeler will collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of models and contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and experience working with BIM authoring tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks or similar).
- Knowledge of Architecture and model development for architectural and structural elements.
- Experience as a Modeler with the ability to translate design intent into accurate, detailed 3D models.
- Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and the ability to incorporate MEP components into coordinated BIM models.
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce Construction Drawings and documentation derived from BIM models.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving BIM standards and technologies.
- Prior experience in construction engineering or digital construction environments is an advantage.
