Experience: 5–10 Years in hospital billing, preferably 2–3 years in a managerial role

Qualification: Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Hospital Administration, or a relevant field. MBA/MHA will be an advantage.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Billing Manager to manage the complete hospital billing operations, ensure accurate and timely billing, streamline revenue cycle management, coordinate with insurance and TPA departments, and maintain compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily inpatient (IPD) and outpatient (OPD) billing operations.
- Supervise billing executives and ensure accurate, timely bill generation.
- Handle cashless and reimbursement claims for insurance companies and TPAs.
- Monitor pre-authorisation, claim submission, query resolution, and settlement processes.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, front office, medical records, accounts, and insurance teams.
- Monitor pending bills, unbilled services, deductions, denials, and outstanding receivables.
- Ensure correct application of hospital tariffs, packages, discounts, and approvals.
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly billing MIS reports and revenue dashboards.
- Improve billing turnaround time and minimise revenue leakage and billing errors.
- Handle patient billing escalations and resolve discrepancies professionally.
- Ensure proper documentation, audit readiness, and compliance with hospital billing procedures.
- Train and guide the billing team to achieve productivity and accuracy targets.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of hospital IPD/OPD billing and revenue cycle management.
- Practical experience with cashless insurance, TPA, and reimbursement claims.
- Knowledge of hospital information systems (HIS/HMS) and billing software.
- Valuable understanding of Excel, MIS reporting, reconciliation, and financial controls.
- Strong team management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in a multispecialty or super-specialty hospital.
- Exposure to NABH-accredited hospital processes will be an advantage.
- Ability to manage high-volume billing operations and lead a team effectively.
- Candidates currently working in hospitals across South Gujarat will be preferred.
