Education: B.E/B.TECH/M.E/M.TECH in Electronics/ Electrical/ Automotive/ Mechatronics/ Instrumentation/ Controls Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.

Job Location- Pune.

Experience: 12-15 Yrs in Automotive Industry.

Job Responsibility:

- Technical Lead to drive the development of battery cells, modules, packs, and associated battery technologies for electric and hybrid vehicle applications.
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for advanced battery cells (LFP, NMC, Sodium-Ion, Solid state, etc.) and high-voltage (HV) / low-voltage (LV) battery packs
- Lead cell technology evaluation, battery-system architecture, mechanical and thermal design, electrical integration, performance evaluation through simulation, design validation, safety engineering, supplier technical management, and production industrialization.
- Ensure that battery systems achieve vehicle-level requirements for - Energy and power performance, Safety and regulatory compliance, Durability and practical life,



Fast-charging capability, Thermal performance, Weight and packaging, Cost and localization and Manufacturing feasibility
- Lead cell configuration, cell stacking, thermal management design, and mechanical/electrical packaging for safety and robustness
- Lead innovation in electrode materials, electrolytes, binders, additives, separators, and cell design.
- Oversee Battery Management System (BMS) hardware/software architecture, algorithm development, and functional safety compliance
- Ensure strong IP generation and protection (patents, trade secrets, freedom to operate)
- Expertise in Mechanical component development including knowhow of simulation and testing including thermal and functional behavior of Batteries
- Should have knowledge about Battery manufacturing and EOL processes.
