About the Role

VARITE India Private Limited is looking for an experienced AWS SRE Administrator to ensure the reliability, availability, performance, and operational stability of applications and infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AWS platform administration, infrastructure monitoring, incident management, observability, and operational automation. The role involves collaborating with application, cloud, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to proactively identify and resolve issues, optimize system performance, and drive continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor AWS-hosted applications, infrastructure, and services to maintain high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Perform proactive health checks, monitor alerts, troubleshoot issues, and provide operational support.
- Administer and manage AWS services, including EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
- Investigate production incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage observability and monitoring tools, including dashboard maintenance, alert configuration, tuning, and reporting.
- Support production deployments through deployment validation, smoke testing, and post-release monitoring.
- Develop and maintain operational runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using AWS-native services, scripting,



and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor resource utilization, capacity trends, and reliability metrics to support capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to maintain compliance with operational and security standards.
- Prepare operational reports, SLA/KPI dashboards, and service health updates for stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and enhance automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in AWS administration, cloud infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Good understanding of AWS services, including EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, alert management, incident response, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of observability concepts, monitoring dashboards, logging, and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of production support processes, root cause analysis, change management, and deployment validation.




- Understanding of cloud security, access management, system availability, and reliability best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with containerized environments and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Knowledge of service-level agreements (SLAs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and service-level objectives (SLOs).
- Experience preparing operational reports, reliability metrics, and capacity-planning documentation.

They should be comfortable troubleshooting complex technical issues, collaborating across teams, and implementing automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹2,800,000.00 per year
