: Assistant Vice President – Presales & Application Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Application Architect to lead presales solutioning and application architecture for large and complex enterprise bids. The role involves end-to-end RFP management, technical solution design, effort estimation, and proposal development, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing application solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently lead end-to-end RFP/RFI/RFQ activities, from requirement analysis and solution design to estimation and final submission.
- Design application architecture, High-Level Designs (HLDs), solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, APIs, integrations, and deployment models.
- Drive application modernization through cloud-native, microservices, API-led, and event-driven architectures.
- Perform application sizing, effort and resource estimation, costing, and technology evaluation.
- Prepare and review technical proposals, BoQ/BoM, compliance responses, assumptions, dependencies, and solution documentation.
- Evaluate COTS products and platforms, including CMS, DMS, workflow tools, rules engines, search platforms, caching solutions, and API gateways.
- Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Infrastructure,



Security, and technology partners to develop comprehensive solutions.
- Lead client workshops, technical presentations, and bid clarification discussions.
- Establish reusable architecture patterns and mentor architects and technical teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 13–20 years of experience in Application Architecture, Solution Architecture, and Technical Presales.
- B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- An active, relevant Application Architecture or Cloud Architect Professional/Expert certification is mandatory.
- Solid expertise in end-to-end RFP lifecycle management, technical solutioning, estimation, costing, and proposal development.
- In-depth knowledge of application design patterns, enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience handling complex enterprise bids, preferably involving government programs or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
