Job Summary:-
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draughtsman for our Water Management projects. The candidate should have positive knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to prepare Drawings and performs revisions as per actual site works. Prepare As built drawings.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Prepare, modify, and update technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Visit project sites to inspect pipeline laying and installation work.
- Verify actual pipeline routes, lengths, alignments, and installation status against approved drawings.
- Update drawings based on actual site conditions and completed work (as-built drawings).
- Make minor modifications and corrections to existing drawings as required.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Maintain updated drawings and documentation for project records.
- Report discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:-
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, or ITI Draughtsmanship, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of water projects systems and pipeline layouts.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
- Willingness to travel to project sites for inspection and measurement.
- Attention to detail and the ability to update drawings accurately.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:-
- Experience in pipeline laying, water supply, drainage, irrigation, or water management projects will be an advantage.
- Freshers with good AutoCAD skills and a willingness to learn may also apply.
Ideal Candidate:- The ideal candidate should be comfortable working both on-site and in the office, capable of checking actual pipeline installation progress, and proficient in updating drawings to reflect the work completed at the site.
