Role Description The Autocad Drafter role at Stone Technics is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ahmedabad, with some flexibility for work from home.

The Autocad

Drafter will prepare detailed technical and shop drawings for stone dry cladding, hardscaping, sculptures, and other architectural elements using CAD software.

Responsibilities include translating design concepts and architectural plans into precise drawings, ensuring accuracy of dimensions and specifications, and coordinating with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers to clarify requirements.



The role involves revising drawings based on feedback, maintaining organized drawing records, and aligning outputs with project timelines and quality standards.

The Autocad

Drafter will also support documentation for manufacturing and installation teams to ensure smooth execution on site.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Technical Drawing and Drawing, with proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD) for precise 2D and 3D drafting.
- Candidates should possess skills in developing Shop Drawings that are production-ready and suitable for fabrication and installation workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architectural Drawings and a solid understanding of Architecture to interpret plans, sections, and elevations accurately.
- Relevant experience in drafting for construction, stone cladding, interiors, or architectural projects is highly beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in architecture, civil engineering, interior design, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical documents, and strong spatial visualization skills are important.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced project environment are expected.
- Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and material properties (especially stone and metal) is an advantage.
