Department: Production Planning & Control (PPC)

Reporting To: Plant Head / Production Head

Job Location: E-77/3, MIDC Ambad, Near Lucy Electric India Pvt. Ltd., Nashik – 422010

1. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Dispatch teams to understand order priorities and delivery commitments.
- Ensure the availability of raw materials by coordinating with the Purchase and Stores departments.
- Release production orders and job cards to the shop floor.
- Monitor production progress and regularly update the production status.
- Track delays, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain production schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to production and planning.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and other resources.
- Plan and monitor work-in-progress (WIP) to avoid delays and shortages.
- Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels and material consumption.
- Coordinate subcontracting activities, wherever required.
- Assist in capacity planning and machine load balancing.
- Maintain proper documentation of production plans, reports, and records.

1. Other Responsibilities

- Support continuous improvement in production planning and scheduling processes.




- Coordinate with the Design and New Product Development (NPD) teams for new product planning.
- Assist in reducing production lead time and improving operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable ISO standards.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination between all departments.

1. Authorities

- Release production plans and job orders as per the approved schedule.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure priority orders are executed on time.
- Highlight production delays and escalate critical issues to management.

- Ensure timely production and delivery of customer orders.
- Reduce production delays and improve planning accuracy.
- Optimize resource utilization and reduce machine idle time.
- Maintain accurate production data and MIS reports.
- Support smooth and efficient plant operations.

1. Candidate Requirements

Preferred Industry: Sheet Metal, Electrical Panel Manufacturing, or Switchgear Manufacturing. Education: DME / BE – Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience.

Salary: As per experience, skills, and knowledge.
