Job Title-Associate Lead – AI/ML Engineer

Location- Pune, India (Onsite)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced AI/ML Engineers to join our team as Associate Leads. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize enterprise‑wide search systems and AI‑powered applications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, production‑grade solutions that enhance search accuracy, personalization, and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement algorithms to improve indexing, query relevance, and search accuracy.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of enterprise‑wide search systems and models.
- Support taxonomy, ontology, and metadata model creation for better search outcomes.
- Collaborate with business units (Loans, Insurance, Investments) to build AI‑enabled search features.
- Conduct analysis of user behavior and system metrics to refine search performance.
- Work with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver integrated search solutions.
- Develop production‑grade ML systems for ranking, personalization, and recommendations.
- Participate in proof‑of‑concept initiatives with internal and external partners.
- Follow best practices in software engineering including CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
- Stay updated with emerging developments in AI/ML and apply them to practical solutions.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied AI, NLP, Deep Learning, or Generative AI.
- Robust programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience with ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or Scikit‑learn.
- Hands‑on experience with NLP, embeddings, semantic search, text classification, document understanding, or recommendation systems.
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Llama, Mistral, Claude, Gemini, or Phi.
- Experience building or implementing RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems, vector search, knowledge retrieval, embeddings, and semantic retrieval solutions.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD practices, and production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with MLFlow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Prefect, Feature Stores, or Model Registry.
- Exposure to vector databases, Spark, PySpark, distributed ML pipelines, or real‑time ML systems.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Background in AI‑first startups, Fintech, Banking, Lending, Fraud Analytics, Risk Analytics, SaaS, or data‑driven technology companies.

Pay: From ₹1,911,000.00 per year
