Role Description The Assistant Pastry Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role supports the founder chef in daily production and planning of desserts, baked goods, and related items, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, measuring and mixing doughs and batters, managing ovens and baking equipment, and assisting with plating and garnishing.

The Assistant Pastry

Chef will help maintain inventory of baking supplies, uphold hygiene and safety standards,



and keep workstations clean and organized. The role also involves collaborating on recent recipe ideas, providing input on seasonal offerings, and working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Bakery operations and Baking techniques.
- Candidates should possess skills in Food Preparation and general Cooking.
- Candidates should possess strong Culinary Skills applicable to pastry and dessert production.
- Experience in a professional pastry kitchen or bakery environment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper handling of ingredients is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Culinary or pastry certification, diploma, or relevant training is an advantage but not mandatory.
