This is an AI-powered platform for EPC and contracting firms, covering tendering, cost estimation, planning, procurement, project execution, monitoring and client billing.

The platform aims to build AI coworkers that automate project workflows while involving people for review, approval and guidance.

Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Engineer with hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based applications in production. The candidate will develop AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, document intelligence systems and computer vision solutions for complex project and tender documents.

Key Responsibilities

AI Agents and RAG

- Build AI agents capable of executing multi-step tasks using document search, tools and APIs.
- Develop RAG pipelines covering document ingestion, retrieval, reranking and answers with source references.
- Implement agent workflows to refine searches, gather evidence and verify outputs.

Document Intelligence

- Build extraction pipelines for PDFs, scanned documents, tables and forms.
- Convert unstructured tender documents into structured, usable data.

Computer Vision and Image Processing

- Develop image-understanding workflows for P&ID; engineering diagrams, including symbols, equipment, labels and connections.
- Identify and remove selected elements from diagram images while preserving surrounding content.





Quality and Evaluation

- Create evaluation datasets and automated checks to measure accuracy and prevent regressions.
- Debug issues involving retrieval, agent decisions, tool calls and model outputs.

Backend and Production Engineering

- Build backend services and REST APIs.
- Integrate AI capabilities into the web application.
- Deploy and maintain production AI features, managing reliability, latency and cost.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on AI engineering experience.
- At least one LLM-based application deployed in production.
- Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with backend development, REST APIs, databases and authentication.
- Hands-on experience building applications using LLM APIs.
- Working knowledge of RAG, embeddings, information retrieval and vector databases.
- Experience with tool calling, structured outputs and multi-step AI agent workflows.
- Understanding of multimodal models and image processing.
- Experience evaluating, testing, deploying and improving AI systems.

Valuable to Have
- OCR, document layout analysis and complex table extraction.
- Computer vision, object detection, segmentation or image inpainting.
- Familiarity with construction, procurement or tender documents.
- Cloud infrastructure and production monitoring.
- Working knowledge of Go.

Work Expectations: This is a fully in-office role in Bangalore, requiring six working days per week.
