Jacob Engineers is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman with a minimum of 3 years of experience to prepare accurate architectural drawings for construction projects. The candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements and construction standards.

Location - Chennai

Preferred - Tamil Nadu Location

Key responsibilities

- Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, joinery, and detail drawings
- Develop and coordinate interior detail drawing sets (flooring, ceiling, joinery, finishes, and typical details)
- Modify and update drawings as per design development, site conditions, and project requirements
- Prepare and draft approval drawings in compliance with local authority regulations and building codes
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and site teams to provide technical support and design clarifications




- Maintain proper drawing documentation, version control, and revision records
- Assist in resolving site-related technical issues through updated drawings and details
- Prepare as-built drawings based on final site conditions after project completion

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or related field

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman

Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Good understanding of building codes and standards
