Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Application Support Engineer role based in Bengaluru.

The Application Support

Engineer will monitor and maintain business-critical applications, respond to support tickets, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting application and system problems, coordinating with development and infrastructure teams for incident resolution, and performing root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues. The role involves documenting solutions, updating knowledge bases, supporting deployments and configuration changes, and communicating clearly with internal users and external clients.

The Application Support





Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, performance monitoring, and service reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Application Support skills, including experience maintaining and troubleshooting production environments.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, with a solid understanding of software systems, web applications, and basic networking concepts.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilities to investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Candidates should possess transparent Communication skills to interact with stakeholders, document issues, and provide user-friendly guidance.
- Experience with ticketing systems, monitoring tools, and incident management frameworks is beneficial.
- Familiarity with databases, APIs, and scripting or automation tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage priorities, and support occasional extended hours during critical incidents.
