Analyst Commercial Banking Operations | 2-5 Years

Are you an experienced Banking Operations professional with expertise in commercial banking, transaction processing, cash management and client servicing? We are looking for a detail-oriented Analyst to support US regional and commercial banking operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, timely service delivery and compliance with operational standards.

Responsibilities

- Handle account opening, account maintenance and documentation requests for commercial banking customers.
- Support onboarding activities and ensure accurate completion of customer documentation.
- Process and support banking products, including ACH, wire transfers, loans, deposits and overdrafts.
- Perform KYC, AML, CIP and other regulatory and compliance-related checks.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding accounts, treasury services, loans, payments and digital banking platforms.
- Conduct daily reconciliations across General Ledger (GL), settlement and suspense accounts, identifying and reporting discrepancies.
- Review daily banking reports, including overdraft, DDA, SAV, SDB and CD reports.
- Participate in audits, quality assurance reviews and operational control activities.
- Review work completed by junior team members to ensure accuracy, quality and adherence to procedures.
- Maintain operational records and ensure compliance with established banking policies and risk controls.

Requirements

- 2-5 years of experience in commercial banking or banking operations.
- Familiarity with commercial lending products, loan servicing, deposits and retail banking products.
- Hands-on experience with Fiserv, DNA and AFS Vision.
- Understanding of ACH, wire transfers, cash management and payment operations.




- Knowledge of KYC, AML, CIP and banking compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reconciliation and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and written communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline.
