: Export Documentation Specialist (USA Lane)

Job Summary The Export Documentation Specialist manages end-to-end export paperwork, customs filings, and compliance for shipments heading to the United States (USA) . You will work closely with internal teams, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and U.S. regulatory bodies to ensure smooth, penalty-free cross-border movements.

Key Responsibilities

- Documentation Preparation: Prepare, verify, and audit core export documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Certificates of Origin, and Shipper’s Letter of Instruction (SLI).
- USA Compliance & Filings: Ensure all shipments comply with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, Automated Export System (AES) / ACE filings, and partner government agency requirements (e.g., FDA,



USDA where applicable).
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise directly with freight forwarders, Custom House Agents (CHAs), ocean/air carriers, and U.S. receiving agents to book and track cargo.
- Sanctioned Party Screening: Verify restricted party and denied person screenings prior to releasing final export paperwork.
- Discrepancy & Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot customs holds, port delays, or documentation mismatches promptly to prevent demurrage or detention charges.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized, audit-ready digital and physical archives of all export transactions in compliance with company and statutory retention policies.
- Reporting: Generate daily/weekly shipment tracking reports and documentation status updates for internal management and external clients.
