Job Title: AI Annotation Team Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI Annotation Team Lead to manage annotation operations and ensure the delivery of accurate, high-quality AI training data. The role involves leading annotators and Pod Leads, monitoring productivity and quality, providing coaching, and meeting strict project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage annotation batches from initiation to final delivery.
- Review client guidelines and translate them into clear instructions for annotation teams.
- Lead annotators and Pod Leads, assign daily targets, and manage staffing requirements.
- Monitor team productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics.
- Conduct coaching, retraining, and performance improvement activities as needed.
- Collaborate with QA and tooling teams to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Identify high-performing employees and develop them for future leadership opportunities.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Lead on progress, risks, challenges, and blockers.




- Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks while maintaining quality standards and turnaround requirements.

Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of overall professional experience.
- At least 2 years of team leadership or team management experience.
- Proven experience managing teams against productivity, accuracy, and quality targets.
- Robust communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex guidelines and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in AI annotation, data labeling, chatbot evaluation, or AI training data projects is preferred.

Project Details
- Engagement Type: Project-based
- Project Duration: 16 weeks
- Work Schedule: 5 working days per week, including weekends as required, with 2 weekdays off.
- Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST
- Project Scope: Evaluate multiple chatbots by comparing their responses and providing a final assessment for each assigned evaluation task.
