Role Overview:

The Senior Manager - Industrial Relations will be responsible for developing and implementing proactive IR strategies, maintaining harmonious employee-management relations, ensuring statutory compliance, and managing union negotiations. This role demands strong labor law knowledge, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to foster a productive and compliant work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Industrial Relations Strategy - Develop and implement IR strategies aligned with business goals; monitor workplace climate and anticipate potential disruptions.

Union & Employee Relations - Liaise and negotiate with trade unions, handle wage settlements and collective bargaining, manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and domestic inquiries.

Compliance & Legal - Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws (Factories Act, ID Act, CLRA, PF, ESI, etc.); manage inspections, audits, and statutory documentation.





Contract Labour Management - Oversee contractor compliance and manpower deployment; ensure adherence to statutory norms and conduct audits.

Employee Engagement & Welfare - Drive engagement programs, promote safety and welfare initiatives, and resolve shop-floor conflicts to minimize disruption.

MIS & Documentation - Maintain statutory records, generate timely reports, and present IR metrics to senior management.
