Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Agency Sales Manager to drive life insurance business through the agency distribution channel. The candidate will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and managing insurance advisors/agents to achieve sales targets, improve productivity, and expand the customer base.

Key Responsibilities

- Recruit, appoint, and develop insurance advisors/agents to build a productive agency network.
- Drive life insurance sales through advisors and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Motivate, train, and mentor agents to improve sales performance and productivity.
- Develop solid relationships with existing advisors and ensure their continued engagement and retention.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the agency distribution network.
- Conduct regular field visits, joint customer meetings, and sales reviews with advisors.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, IRDAI regulations, and applicable compliance requirements.
- Monitor business performance, persistency,



and the quality of insurance policies sold.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, recruitment data, and business forecasts.
- Deliver a positive customer experience and ensure ethical sales practices.

Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; relevant qualifications in management or finance will be an advantage.
- 2–6 years of experience in sales, preferably in life insurance, general insurance, banking, or financial services.
- Experience in agency sales, advisor recruitment, and channel management will be preferred.
- Solid communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to motivate a team, work in the field, and achieve business targets.
- Good understanding of insurance products and sales processes.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
