Agency Head / Senior Regional Head - Agency - Pune / PCMC

Are you an experienced General Insurance professional with strong expertise in agency sales, agent recruitment, team management and regional business development? We are looking for a dynamic professional to lead agency operations, expand the agent network and drive business growth across Pune/PCMC.

Responsibilities

- Drive agency channel sales and achieve business targets across the assigned region.
- Recruit, onboard, activate and develop insurance agents to expand the agency network.
- Lead, mentor and motivate agency sales teams to improve productivity and business performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and key channel partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and strengthen market presence across Pune/PCMC.
- Monitor agent productivity, sales performance and regional business growth against targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve agent activation, retention and overall channel performance.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to agents and team members to achieve business objectives

Requirements

- Relevant experience in agency sales, agency development and team management within the General Insurance industry.
- Proven experience in independently recruiting, onboarding and developing insurance agents.
- Strong understanding of agency channel operations, sales strategies and business development.
- Experience managing teams and driving regional business targets.
- Strong knowledge of the Pune/PCMC insurance market and local agent network.




- Candidates from leading General Insurance companies such as Bajaj Allianz, ICICI Lombard, Tata AIG, Digit and other established insurers will be preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Graduate/Postgraduate qualification.
