Role Description The Admissions Counselor role at IILM is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon. The counselor engages with prospective students and families, providing information about programs, admission criteria, campus life, and career outcomes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, conducting campus tours, guiding applicants through the application and enrollment process, and maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions. The role also involves participating in outreach events, education fairs, and school visits, collaborating with academic and marketing teams to support admissions campaigns,



and preparing reports on admissions activities and targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to effectively engage with prospective students, families, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, helpful guidance throughout the inquiry and admissions process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, follow up proactively, and support enrollment targets in a consultative and ethical manner.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, ideally within higher education or student counseling environments.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include strong organizational and time-management abilities, proficiency with CRM or admissions management systems, comfort with public speaking and presentations, and competence in MS Office tools.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required; a background in Education, Management, Psychology, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in admissions, counseling, or student services is preferred, along with the ability to work flexible hours during peak admission seasons.
