Job Summary

Kalinga University is looking for confident, enthusiastic, and target-oriented candidates for the position of Admission Counsellor. The candidate will be responsible for handling admission enquiries, explaining academic programs, following up with prospective students, and converting leads into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, eligibility criteria, fee structures, scholarships, and admission procedures.
- Communicate confidently and professionally in English with students and parents.
- Handle admission enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, and walk-in visits.
- Follow up with prospective students regularly to generate interest and drive admissions.
- Explain academic programs, career opportunities, placement support, and campus facilities.
- Convert prospective student enquiries into applications and confirmed admissions.
- Achieve assigned admission and counselling targets.
- Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, follow-ups, and admission status.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents throughout the admission process.
- Coordinate with the admission team to ensure a smooth and efficient admission process.





Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
- Excellent English communication skills are mandatory.
- Ability to communicate fluently and confidently in English.
- Strong interpersonal, convincing, and negotiation skills.
- 1–2 years of experience in educational counselling, admissions, telecalling, or sales is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent English communication and convincing skills are welcome to apply.
- Must be comfortable working in a target-driven workplace.
