Experience: 8+ Years (Min 3 Years in Airline Ticketing / Travel Industry Mandatory)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a senior, hands-on Accounts Manager who can take complete ownership of the accounts department. We have an existing team, but we need a leader who can assess the current team, restructure it, hire additional staff as per business requirement, train them, build bonding, and implement flawless, audit-proof processes in consultation with management.

This is a leadership role, not just an accounting role. You should be smart enough to understand airline economics - which deals will come, which PLB is due, which RBD not to give deal on - and ensure zero leakage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. COMPLETE OWNERSHIP OF ACCOUNTS & FINANCE OPERATIONS:

· End-to-end ownership of Accounts Receivable, Payable, General Ledger, Cash Flow, and Financial Reporting.

· Daily Bank Reconciliation is compulsory.

· Manage fund flow, expense management, bank & payment gateway settlements.

· Salary disbursement, petty cash, and vendor payments on time.

· Ensure all ledgers - Agent, Airline, Supplier, GDS, Bank - are 100% up-to-date. No backlog.

2. AIRLINE TICKETING & DEAL MANAGEMENT - CORE SKILL:

· Deep knowledge of Airline Business: You must know on which airline what deal / PLB / incentive will come, what targets are running, and on which RBD / fare class deal should NOT be parted to downstream agents.

· Verify every Supplier / Airline invoice for correct deal imparted to us. If deal is short or wrong, you are responsible for raising billing correction with suppliers and getting it fixed.

· Verify and correct all Downstream Agent invoices - Ensure correct deal is passed to agents as per management policy. No excess deal leakage.

· Handle complete airline operations: BSP Reconciliation, GDS (Amadeus/Galileo) Reconciliation, ADM / ACM (Debit/Credit Notes), Refunds, Cancellations, Reissues, Void, Group Deposits.

· Track airline targets vs achievement, alert management on gaps, and ensure PLB is claimed on time.

· Manage Airline Contracts - Ensure all contracts are filed properly and team is aware of deal terms.

· Handling Group Deposits,

Refunds and Reconciliation.

3. CLEARANCE OF BACKLOG & RECONCILIATION:

· Oversee complete billing cycle - Purchase, Sales, Refund, Service Fees.

· Immediate responsibility to clear old backlog of reconciliation, if any - Agent Ledgers, Airline Ledgers, Supplier Ledgers.

· Ensure downstream agent ledgers are always clean, reconciled, and collection is on time.

· Onboarding of New Downstream Agents: Complete documentation, Agreement, GST, PAN, and KYC. Create a proper filing system (physical + digital).

· Periodic KYC: Re-verify existing agents' documents, credit limits, and payment behaviour every 6-12 months.

· Set credit limits, payment terms, and build a strong collection follow-up process.

· Weekly/Daily reconciliation of BSP, GDS (Amadeus/Galileo), and Airline portals.

4. COMPLIANCE, LEGAL & GOVERNANCE:

· Ensure 100% compliance with GST Filing, TDS, TCS, and all statutory reporting.

· Handling of DC Business Report Submission and other airline / regulatory reporting.

· Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, maintain accurate records, and support internal & external audits.

· Implement robust internal controls and proper filing of all documents - Airline Contracts, Agent Agreements, Bills, Bank Docs.

5. REPORTING & ANALYSIS:

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Financial Reports, Cash Flow, P&L;, and MIS for management.
