Position Title: Manager – Finance & Accounts

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager – Finance & Accounts to oversee our organization’s finance and accounting operations. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring sound financial management, statutory compliance, internal controls, and robust budgeting and MIS systems. The role also involves active coordination with auditors, consultants, and government authorities to ensure transparency and compliance across all activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and monitor all financial transactions in ERP (income, purchases, expenses)

· Validate project codes and cost centres, ensuring accurate allocation for shared expenses across projects

· Oversee payroll processing in coordination with the HR team, linked to attendance and leave records

· Ensure effective controls for inventory, consumables, fixed assets, and stock records

· Track and follow up on student fee receivables and grants

· Conduct ledger scrutiny and reconcile receivables and payables

· Lead the annual budgeting process; support project heads in timely and accurate budget submissions

· Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports, including variance analysis with narrative commentaries

· Support compliance activities with Universities, State Govt. departments, and statutory authorities





· Assist in audits, tax scrutiny, and compliance with Charity Commissioner regulations

· Ensure timely filing and compliance with Direct and Indirect Tax regulations

· Drive ongoing improvements in finance-related systems, internal controls, and documentation

· Uphold ethical standards, legal provisions, and best practices in all financial operations

Desired Profile

Educational Qualifications:

· B.Com / M.Com with CA Inter or CA Final (preferred)

Experience:

· Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience

· Experience in managing end-to-end finance function in an ERP-based environment preferred

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong proficiency in Tally ERP 9 and MS Office (especially Excel)

· In-depth knowledge of Direct Tax and other applicable statutory laws

· Excellent communication skills in English and Gujarati

· High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability

· Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rapid-paced, mission-driven environment

· Demonstrated integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
