We are seeking an Accounting Specialist II - Payment Proposal Check to perform payment proposal checks and handle complex business transactions in the defined task field.
Responsibilities
- Perform payment proposal checks on a basis of selected sample of invoices
- Handle predominantly complex business transactions in the defined task field
- Conclusively clarify predominantly reliable and complex issues, also in collaboration with other functional units and with customers/suppliers
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities
- Work on other ad hoc and regular tasks
- Communicate and handle more complex requests and propose solutions
- Prepare and update documentations and necessary banking work instructions
- Support ICS controls and testing
- Participate in project related activities
- Address suggestions for process optimization and monitor measures in the event of process disruptions
- Perform other banking relevant tasks as requested by supervisor
- Adopt a multiplier function for an assigned functional area
Your Profile
We are looking for a qualified Accounting Specialist II with advanced knowledge of accounting processes, banking operations, and strong technical skills in SAP and MS Office, along with excellent communication abilities and customer orientation.
Must Have Skills
- Advanced knowledge of accounting processes and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of banking operations
- Practical experience in the field of accounting for 2 years
- Prior accounting experience of minimum 2-3 years
- Advanced level of English language
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- SAP experience
- Customer orientation
