Role Description This is a full time, on-site Accountant role based in the Pune Division. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and client accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, managing invoicing and collections, and assisting with budgeting and cash flow reporting. The role also involves supporting tax preparation, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, and collaborating with the consulting team to provide accurate financial data for property-related decisions.



The Accountant will contribute to process improvements and maintain organized, audit-ready financial records.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess core accounting skills such as general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess financial analysis skills, including budgeting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting and office software, such as Excel, accounting ERP systems, and digital document management tools.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and documentation accurately.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, clients, and external auditors.
- Relevant education such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA equivalent) are an advantage.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements, especially those relevant to real estate transactions, is highly beneficial.
- Experience in real estate, consulting, or professional services environments is a plus.
