Role Description The Accountant at Pandian Hotel is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, including recording income and expenses, handling invoices, and processing vendor payments. The Accountant prepares and reconciles ledgers and bank statements, supports budgeting activities, and assists with monthly and annual closing of accounts.

The role includes preparing basic financial reports,



ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in core accounting functions, including ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets, and strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operations, procurement, and management teams.
- Prior experience in hospitality or service-oriented businesses is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
