Job Summary

Pepper Kid is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely completion of financial transactions and reports. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, good analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting records and ensure accurate entry of all financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, receipts, and payment records.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations regularly.
- Monitor expenses, income, and cash flow.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and other business transactions.
- Ensure timely processing of vendor payments and customer collections.
- Assist with GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors,



and other departments regarding accounting matters.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally or other accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
- Positive communication and organizational skills.
