Role Description The Academic Mentor role at SHRS – SARIKA HR SOLUTIONS is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Academic

Mentor will guide learners in their academic progress, provide subject support, and help develop effective study strategies and learning plans. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one or small-group mentoring sessions, clarifying academic concepts, supporting curriculum delivery, and tracking learner performance. The role also involves collaborating with educators and stakeholders, providing constructive feedback,



and encouraging learners’ overall educational and personal development.

The Academic

Mentor will maintain accurate records, prepare basic reports, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills to build trust, motivate learners, and manage diverse learner needs.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain concepts clearly, provide feedback, and collaborate with educators and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Mathematics skills to support learners with quantitative subjects and problem-solving activities.
- Candidates should possess Education and Training skills to design learning activities, mentor learners, and facilitate skill development.
- Relevant academic background in Education, Mathematics, Psychology, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience in academic mentoring, teaching, tutoring, or student support services is beneficial.
- Ability to work in office in Bengaluru, manage schedules, and handle multiple learner needs in a structured environment.
- Strong organizational skills, basic reporting abilities, and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered practices.
