Quantum School of AI is an advanced AI engineering upskilling platform based in Hyderabad, India, under Automatrix. We run an intensive 2-year programme — Year 1 of full-time in-campus upskilling (Monday-Friday, 10 AM-8 PM) followed by Year 2 of focused evening advanced modules (9 PM-11 PM) — producing job-ready AI engineers capable of building and deploying production-grade AI systems. With 30 seats per batch, selective admissions, and a robust hiring partner network, we are redefining AI education in India.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Student Counsellor is the first and most critical point of contact for every prospective student at Quantum School of AI. You will guide applicants through the admission journey — from the initial enquiry to enrolment — while ensuring they fully understand the commitment, the curriculum, and the career outcomes of our 2-year programme. Beyond admissions, you will remain a support anchor for enrolled students throughout their learning journey, helping them stay on track and connected to the institute's goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct structured counselling sessions (in-person and virtual) to explain the 2-year programme structure, schedule, fee of ₹12,00,000, and expected career outcomes.
- Guide prospective students through the AI Aptitude Entrance Test (In-Campus) and manage the pre-admission screening process.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed enrolments by addressing concerns, communicating programme value, and following up diligently.
- Coordinate with the operations and faculty teams to schedule orientation sessions, campus tours,



and demo classes.
- Support enrolled students with queries related to attendance (80% minimum requirement), leave policy (21-day cap), and programme expectations.
- Assist in collecting and processing student documents, signed enrolment contracts, and fee payments.
- Work closely with the marketing team during admission drives, open days, and outreach events at engineering colleges across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
- Track and report weekly counselling metrics including enquiry-to-enrolment conversion rates, source analysis, and drop-off reasons.
- Build rapport with students and parents, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the 2-year programme duration.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably Business, Psychology, Education, or Engineering).
- 1-3 years of experience in student counselling, academic admissions, or edtech sales.
- Prior experience at an engineering college, coaching centre, or edtech company is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with AI, tech education, or the Indian IT hiring landscape is preferred.

Skills & Attributes

- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Telugu; Hindi is a plus.




- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with students and parents quickly.
- Persuasive counselling ability — you can communicate value clearly without being pushy.
- Comfortable discussing technical concepts at a high level (AI careers, job roles, salary benchmarks).
- Organised and process-driven with strong follow-up discipline and CRM hygiene.
- Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed enrolment targets.
- Empathetic listener with a student-first mindset.
- Ability to work 6 days a week and be available during peak admission seasons.
