Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the operation theatre before surgery (cleaning, sterilization, arranging instruments)
- Ensure all surgical instruments, drapes, and consumables are available and sterilized
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
- Handle and operate OT equipment such as suction machines, monitors, cautery units, and anesthesia equipment (under supervision)
- Maintain aseptic techniques to prevent infections
- Monitor and manage OT inventory and surgical supplies
- Dispose of biomedical waste safely as per hospital protocols
- Assist in shifting and positioning patients before and after surgery
- Support anesthesia team when required
- Ensure proper post-operative cleaning and reset of OT for next procedure

Required Skills :





- Knowledge of surgical instruments and OT equipment
- Strong understanding of sterilization and infection control practices
- Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
- Attention to detail and discipline in following protocols
- Teamwork and communication skills

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's in Operation Theatre Technology

Experience

- Fresher to 2-5 years (depending on hospital or clinic requirements)

Pay: ₹13,083.35 - ₹19,655.35 per month
