A Warehouse Assistant manages the flow of goods, handling receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders, while maintaining accurate inventory records and a clean, safe workspace, often using equipment like pallet jacks and scanners. Key duties include unloading deliveries, organizing stock, preparing shipments with correct labels, conducting inventory checks, and supporting team goals for productive warehouse operations.

- Key Responsibilities:

- Receiving & Unloading: Accepting deliveries, checking for damage, and moving items to storage.

- Order Fulfillment: Picking items from shelves, packing them securely, and labeling for shipment.

- Inventory Management: Scanning, logging, and updating stock levels, reporting discrepancies, and assisting with audits.

- Organization & Maintenance: Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, ensuring aisles are clear.

- Equipment Operation: Safely using pallet jacks,



scanners, and sometimes forklifts.

- Shipping & Dispatch: Moving prepared orders to loading docks for dispatch. Essential Skills & Requirements:

- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in picking, packing, and recording inventory.

- Teamwork: Collaborating with colleagues to meet productivity targets.

- Safety Consciousness: Adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.

- Basic Literacy/Numeracy: For record-keeping and following instructions.

- Experience: Previous experience in logistics or a similar role is often preferred.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,102.53 per month
