Role Objective
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at our construction projects, ensuring that work is executed according to technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in civil engineering and strong on-ground leadership to manage contractors and resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Construction Supervision : Direct and oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with architectural drawings and structural designs.
- Contractor Coordination : Act as the primary point of contact for all sub-contractors, providing clear instructions and ensuring workmanship meets quality standards.
- Daily Reporting : Maintain meticulous daily progress reports (DPRs), documenting labor attendance, work completed, and any site-related challenges or delays.
- Procurement & Inventory : Raise material requisitions in a timely manner to prevent work stoppages. Manage on-site inventory to ensure zero wastage and prevent theft.
- Vendor Management : Coordinate with material suppliers for deliveries and verify the quality and quantity of incoming goods against purchase orders.
- Safety & Compliance : Enforce strict safety protocols on-site to ensure a hazard-free environment for all laborers and staff.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil Engineering .
- Experience : 0-3 years of experience in supervising residential or commercial building projects.
- Technical Skills :
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) for reporting.
- Communication : Strong verbal communication skills to manage diverse teams and negotiate with vendors.
- Logistics : Must possess a valid driving license and a two-wheeler/motorcycle for daily commuting and moving between project sites.
- Robust problem-solving skills to address on-site technical issues.
- High level of integrity in managing materials and vendor relations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
