we require a Sales Assistant in an Indian traditional clothing showroom responsible for assisting customers in selecting ethnic wear such as sarees, lehengas, suits, kurtis, and other traditional garments. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, explaining product details, maintaining showroom presentation, and supporting the sales team to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Assistance
- Greet and welcome customers in a polite and professional manner.
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable traditional outfits.
- Assist customers in selecting sarees, lehengas, salwar suits, kurtis, and other ethnic wear.
- Provide information about fabrics, embroidery work, designs, and pricing.
- Help customers with draping sarees or styling outfits if required.
Sales & Product Promotion
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Promote new arrivals, festive collections, and special offers.
- Upsell matching accessories such as dupattas, blouses, and jewelry.
Showroom Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and proper display of garments in the showroom.
- Arrange and fold garments neatly after customer trials.
- Ensure racks and display sections are organized and visually appealing.
Customer Experience
- Provide a friendly and comfortable shopping experience.
- Handle customer queries and basic complaints politely.
- Build valuable relationships with customers to encourage repeat visits.
Stock & Inventory Support
- Assist in stock management and inventory checking.
- Inform the store manager about low stock or damaged items.
