Reports to: Production/Quality Manager or R&D; Head

Role Purpose

- To manage and optimize beverage production processes, particularly high-fill/high-food (HF) operations, ensuring product quality, consistency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Process Management & Optimization

- Monitor and control beverage production processes, ensuring proper filling, formulation, and quality standards.
- Optimize process parameters (temperature, flow rate, viscosity, carbonation, etc.) to maximize efficiency and product yield.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.

Quality & Compliance

- Conduct in-line and off-line product testing to ensure adherence to specifications (pH, Brix, carbonation, microbial limits, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records for audits and traceability.

R&D; & Continuous Improvement

- Support process improvement initiatives and scale-up of new beverage formulations.
- Suggest and implement modifications to improve process efficiency, reduce wastage, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D;, QA, Production, Maintenance) for continuous process optimization.

Training & Documentation





- Train production operators on process parameters, best practices, and safety protocols.
- Prepare and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process manuals.
- Maintain logs, batch records, and reports for management review.

Qualifications & Skills

Education :

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Food Technology, or related field.
- Knowledge of beverage production processes (carbonated drinks, juices, etc.) preferred.

Experience :

- 2-5 years in process chemistry or production chemistry in beverage/FMCG/food industry.
- Hands-on experience with high-fill/high-food processing lines is an advantage.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of process chemistry, beverage formulations, and quality control.
- Ability to analyze and optimize production processes.
- Positive documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
