- Conduct topographical and mine surveys using Total Station, GPS, and other surveying instruments
- Prepare and update mine plans, sections, and statutory drawings
- Ensure compliance with DGMS regulations and maintain survey records
- Calculate volume of excavation, stockpiles, and overburden
- Monitor pit development and provide survey data for production planning
- Mark drilling, blasting, and excavation areas as per mine plan
- Coordinate with mine operations team for alignment and progress tracking
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration
- Assist in statutory inspections and audits
Key Skills :
- Strong knowledge of mine surveying techniques and instruments
- Familiarity with DGMS rules and mining regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / surveying software
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in field conditions
- 3-4 years of experience in aggregate / quarry mining
- Hands-on experience in mine planning and survey documentation
- DGMS Surveyor Certificate is mandatory
- Valuable communication and coordination skills
