Role summary You handle lung function testing. You support diagnosis and monitoring of respiratory conditions. You work closely with pulmonologists and physicians.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct tests
- Spirometry

- Diffusion capacity (DLCO)
- Bronchodilator reversibility testing
- Prepare patients
- Explain procedure clearly
- Check history, smoking status, symptoms
- Ensure proper effort and technique
- Operate and maintain equipment
- Calibrate machines daily
- Follow infection control protocols
- Record and report data
- Ensure accuracy
- Upload reports in EMR or patient file
- Assist doctors
- Support interpretation when needed
- Alert for abnormal values
- Maintain documentation

Skills required

Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor in Respiratory Therapy or relevant field
- Certified PFT technician preferred
- 1-3 years experience in hospital setup
