Ascend Computers is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laptop Technician to join our growing team. As a key member of our refurbishing and repair department, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing laptops to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance and quality.

Responsibilities :

- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in laptops.
- Perform repairs and replacements of defective components, including screens, motherboards, hard drives, and batteries.
- Run diagnostic tests to ensure the functionality of all laptop systems and components.
- Refurbish pre-owned laptops by cleaning, upgrading, and installing necessary software and drivers.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and refurbishments performed on each unit.
- Ensure all work is completed within established timeframes and meets company quality standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating issues, solutions, and updates with clarity and professionalism.




- Follow safety procedures and best practices to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience in laptop repair, refurbishing, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of laptop hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in installing, upgrading, and configuring operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.).
- Ability to work with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- A+ Certification or similar technical certifications are a plus.
