Role Summary

Looking for a Production Incharge - Control Panel Wiring with valuable knowledge in UPS and inverter manufacturing . The role involves managing end-to-end wiring and assembly of UPS systems, inverter panels, battery banks, and control panels , ensuring quality, safety, and timely production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Shop Floor Management

- Plan and execute daily production for UPS panels, inverter systems, and control cabinets :

- Supervise wiring, assembly, and integration of:

- UPS systems (Online / Offline / Line-interactive)

- Inverter units

- Battery banks & DC connections

- Ensure adherence to production schedules and dispatch timelines

- Coordinate with design, R&D;, QA, and stores for smooth operations

2. Technical Responsibilities (UPS/Inverter Specific)

- Read and interpret:

- Electrical schematics

- SLDs, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams

- Ensure proper wiring of:

- Rectifier, inverter, and static switch sections

- Battery connections (DC wiring)

- Control wiring for PCB boards and relays

- Understand UPS working including:

- DC to AC conversion via inverter

- Battery charging and backup systems

- Handle components like:

- IGBT modules, transformers, SMPS, relays, contactors

- PLC/Controller boards (if applicable)

- Troubleshoot faults in wiring, PCB interfacing, and panel integration

Battery & Power Section Handling

- Supervise battery installation and interconnections (series/parallel)
- Ensure correct polarity and cable sizing during installation
- Monitor safety during high-current DC wiring
- Ensure proper earthing and grounding practices

4. Quality & Testing

- Ensure all panels undergo:

- Continuity testing

- Functional testing

- Load testing of UPS systems

- Verify output voltage stability and system performance

- Reduce rejection, rework, and field failure rates

5. Team Handling

- Lead a team of electricians, wiremen, and technicians

- Allocate work and monitor productivity

- Train team on:

- UPS wiring standards

- Safety practices

- New product designs

Experience in industrial UPS systems would be a Plus.

Qualifications : ITI in Electrician/Wireman or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Experience : 3+ years in control panel wiring, reading schematic drawings, PLC knowledge, and assembly.

Location : Ahmedabad Qualification : Diploma / B.E. in Electrical / Electronics or equivalent degree Industry : UPS / Inverter Manufacturing / Power Electronics

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
