About JVR Retail : We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to handle all electrical maintenance and troubleshooting work within the showroom. The role ensures uninterrupted power supply, proper lighting, and safety compliance to support smooth store operations and enhance customer experience.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine electrical maintenance of showroom lighting, wiring, panels, and fixtures
Ensure proper functioning of display lighting, spotlights, and decorative lighting (critical for jewellery/têxtile display)
Handle installation and maintenance of electrical equipment such as AC units, generators, UPS, and inverters
Identify faults and carry out timely repairs to avoid operational disruptions
Monitor power load and prevent electrical overload issues
Ensure backup systems (generator/inverter) are always in working condition
Support current store setup or renovation work (electrical fittings, cabling, etc.)
Maintain safety standards and follow electrical compliance norms
Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs or servicing
Maintain basic records of maintenance work and issues
Skills & Requirements: ITI / Diploma in Electrical or relevant qualification
2-5 years of experience, preferably in retail showrooms, malls, or commercial spaces
Knowledge of lighting systems, wiring, and electrical safety
Ability to troubleshoot quickly during store hours
Basic understanding of AC systems and power backup units
Reliable, disciplined, and able to respond to urgent issues
Working Conditions: May require working on weekends/holidays (based on store operations)
On-call availability for emergency electrical issues
